Sure, we just gave you the “common sense” definition of selling, but I felt it was important to “lay it on the line” because we’ve found that a HUGE number of people fail at sales simply because it’s not for them. Hopefully this isn’t you, so let’s move on to the technical definition:
Selling is the act of communicating information to a Prospect that “triggers” an emotional and intellectual desire to purchase a product or services.
That was a mouth full, but most technical definitions are. Don’t worry; we’ll work through the whole thing!
